Kinnigoli: Bank thieves strike again, Steal gold cash worth Rs 5 crore

 

Kinnigoli, 21 Nov 2015: In yet another case of bank theft, miscreants broke into SK Goldsmith Co-operative Bank located on Kinnigoli main road and stole money and gold worth Rs 5 crore on Friday night.

 

It is said that a building was under construction behind the bank. The miscreants reportedly made use of a ladder they found at the construction site and climbed into the bank building. They then broke open the shutter and stole money and gold while also managing to disable the siren.

 

The police, forensics and a canine squad visited the spot. Investigations are on.
