Bantwal: Job aspirants throng 2-day Udyoga Mela at Canara Engg College, Benjanapadav

Bantwal, 20 Nov 2015: Magasse Award recipient entrepreneur Dr H Harish Hande inaugurated Udyoga Mela, 2-day Job Fair at Canara Engineering College, Benjanapadav, near here on Thursday November 19 morning.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Harish appealed to the youth community to better utilise the job fair that was organized by the state government instead of criticising.
He further said, ‘The government does 10 percent of effort, while the job aspirants got to do 90 percent of their efforts. The district administration deserves kudos in organizing job fair because unemployed youth easily go wayward that leads to terrorism, religious intolerance,’ said Dr Harish.
The state forests and DK district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai said that the state administration has been contemplating on providing land to set up small industries. The job fair that will be held every year will also contributes for communal harmony. The human resources is a national force, said minister Rai.
MUDA chairman Kodijal Ibrahim, K B Arasappa KCCI president Rammohan Pai Maroor, Vocational and Skill Training Development Board chairperson Pushpa Laxmanaswamy, Social Welfare Board chairperson Divyaprabha Chiltadka, employment and training department commissioner J Manjunat, environment department secretary Shantappa, Dr Iftikar Ali, Canara Engineering College principal Ganesh V Bhat, TP president Yashwant Deraje, BUDA chairman Pius Rodrigues, Ammunje gram panchayat president Premalata, ZP CEO Srividya, SP Dr Sharanappa, Alvas Education Foundation chairman DR Mohan Alva were the chief guests of the occasion.

Udyoga Mela was organized by DK district administration, in collaboration with environment and biodiversity department, Canara Engineering College and Alvas Education Foundation, Moodbidri.
