Mumbai: Bharat Co-op Bank on expansion spree; opens 81st branch at Baroda

Mumbai, 19 Nov 2015: The metro-based Bharat Co-operative Bank, a multistate scheduled bank opened its eighty-first branch at Midtown Heights building, Jetalpur Road, Alkapuri, near Baroda railway station, Gujarat on Wednesday November 18 morning.

 

The Bank chairman and All India Billawara Federation president Jaya Suvarna and Rashmi Behen Patel inaugurated the new branch by cutting the ribbon.

 

 

Billawa Sangha – Gujarat founder president Dayanand Bontra inaugurated the banking services by lighting the lamp.

 

Tulu Sangha – Baroda former president Jayaram S Shetty, Billawa Sangha – Gujarat vice president V D Amin Ahmedabad, Billawa Sangha – Baroda honorary general secretary Vasu V Suvarna, litterateur S K Haleyangady, entrepreneurs Manoj M Poojary, Isubu Matedar, Naveen Dalmiya, Krishnakant R Shah and Suryakant Vyas were the guests of honor present.

 

The Bank deputy chairperson advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated ATM kiosk, while the senior director Pushpalata N Salian inaugurated the locker facility.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Prajapati Rashmi Behen said, ‘Let Bharat Bank grow helping the ordinary customers to realize their aspirations.’  

 

Dayanand Bontra said, ‘Bharat Bank has been a succor for ordinary customers. The new branch in Baroda hops to extend its efficient banking services to the people.’

 

The entrepreneurs Jayaram Shetty, Vijayakumar Shetty, Naveen Dalmiya and Krishnakant R Shah conveyed best wishes for Bharat Bank to soon emerge leading bank in the country.

 

The Bank managing director and CEO C R Mulky, directors advocate S B Amin, Chandrashekar S Poojary, R D Poojary, K B Poojary and Gangadhar J Poojary, former directors N M Sanil and Shankar D Poojary, chief general manager Anil R Amin, general manager Shobha Dayanand, Baroda branch manager Mohandas H Poojary, staff Sudhakar Amin, Mahesh Kotian, Binkita Das, Shreya Shettigar, Akanksha Bhusal, Krishna Sethna, Shankar Nerlekar, Dhananjay Palan offered floral welcome to the dignitaries. 

 

The Bank development department head Sunil A Gujaran, Vijay V Palan, Vinodha R D Poojary, hundreds of new branch customers, well wishers were present.

 

The Vedic celebrants Ulloor Dhananjay Shanti and Shekar Shanti Ulloor performed religious rituals at the new branch. Gangadar Kallady distributed the prasadam to the gathering.
