Mumbai: Ashraya old age home of BSKB Association celebrates 7th anniversary

Mumbai, 18 Nov 2015: The Ashraya old age home, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, promoted by metro-based BSKB Association, celebrated its seventh anniversary at V H Someshwar auditorium, Navi Mumbai, here recently.
Variety cultural shows were held directed by Vidya Rao and Vidushi Sahana Bharadwaj, to bring joy to the inmates of old age home.
BSKB Association president Suresh S Rao presided the programme. Reliance Industries Group president B Narayan was the chief guest of the occasion.
Shalimar Valves managing director Y Gururaj and Samir Sanghvi Associates director M H Muralidar were the guests of honor.
Ashraya old age home governing council chairman Vaman Holla welcomed the gathering. The chief functionary Chandravati Rao briefed about the path treaded by the Ashraya old age home.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Suresh Rao said that Ashraya has become a premier senior citizens care in Navi Mumbai. The inmates at Ashraya are leading the evenings of their life with joy.
Ashraya inmate Balaji Iyer was presented Star of Ashrya Award that was instituted by Ratna Acharya, senior member of BSKB Association.
Chitra Melmane compered the programme. Ashraya old age home governing council secretary Prashant Herle proposed vote of thanks.
The condolences were offered for the repose of Anantakrishna Hebbar, veteran member of BSKB Association who was instrumental in setting up Ashraya old age home. He passed away recently.
