Mangaluru, 14 Nov 2015: The District Administration had organized a children’s festival ‘Makkala Habba’ on November 14 and 15, but now stands postponed due to the tension prevailing in the city and the section 144 that has been imposed till November 15 night.

‘Makkala Habba’ was scheduled to be held at Pilikula.

The Bajarang Dal had called for a bandh on Friday following the murder of Harish in Bantwal the previous night. For avoiding any untoward incident, the District Administration has imposed Section 144 in the district.

However, officials have said that the children’s festival was postponed and the dates would be announced soon.
