Mangaluru: 29-year-old videographer killed in accident

Mangaluru, 15 Oct 2015: A young videographer lost his life in a tragic accident at Mijar in Moodbidri here on Wednesday October 14.

 

The deceased is Harish Acharya (29), son of Sridhar Acharya, a resident near Mahalingeshwara Temple, Shirtady.

 

 

It is said that Harish’s wedding was scheduled to be held on October 25 at Mahaveer Bhavan in Moodbidri, and on October 14, he was on his way to distribute his wedding invitations among friends and relatives. When he reached near Alva’s Engineering College at Mijar, a speeding bus moving towards Moodbidri rammed head-on into his car.

 

The impact of the collision was such that Harish sustained critical injuries and his car was smashed. He was rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru but breathed his last on the way. 

 

Also, the car turned backwards and hit another vehicle. Moodbidri police have registered a case.
