Bantwal: Organic farmer Rajesh Naik urges rural youth to turn disused farms into lush greenery

Bantwal, 12 Oct 2015: Amarajyoti Friends Circle, Muttoor, near here organized Kesardonji Dina, rural sports in Bakimar paddy field, here on Sunday October 11, who were motivated by farming activities of progressive organic farmer Rajesh Naik Ulipadiguttu.
Rajesh Naik after offering motion for rural sports, here on Sunday morning, gave a clarion cal to youth to take keen interest in farming on disused farmland that thrived with lush greenery in Dakshina Kannada district.
Muttoor gram panchayat president Nagamma presided the programme.
Krishnaraja Marla Muttoor, entrepreneur Girish Alva, Jagdish Pakaje, Praveen Alva, Noushad, journalist Sandeep Salian, Hariappa Muttoor, Muttoor gram panchayat members Gerald Pinto and Taranat Kulal, physical education teacher Darshan Naik were present.
Amarajyoti Friends Circle president Sushant Kotian was present at the dais.
