Mangaluru: SUMELL - Konkani Singign Club to celebrate World Music Day in city on Oct 1

Mangaluru, 28 Sep 2015: SUMELL – the Konkani Singing Club, in association with its mother body – Mandd Sobhann – will be celebrating World Music Day at Kalaangann, here on Thursday October 1 at 6.00pm.

 

Vimala Lobo, the eminent music teacher of Mangaluru will be the chief guest of the occasion.

 

 

Cajetan Dias, young music composer, arranger, teacher and singer from Bengaluru, will be taking the audience on ‘A cruise in the ocean of Music’.

 

Sangeet Guru Joel Pereira, will be conducting the instrumental ensemble which will paint ‘A Musical Rainbow of World Music’ (from – western classical, Arabic, Hindustani, Spanish, Carnatic, Sufi, Oriental, Afro-Cuban-Jazz, Bollywood to ‘Gumott’).
