Udupi: Jnanaganga PU College, Moodubelle organizes workshop on teenage issues & drug abuse

Udupi, 24 Sep 2015: NSS unit of Jnanaganga PU College, Nellikatte, Moodubelle, near here, in association with Lions Club and Lioness Club of Udupi south organized workshop on teenage issues and drug abuse at their College auditorium, here on Wednesday September 23. 

 

Dr Soujanya Shetty was the resource person explained the teenage issues and remedies out of her professional experiences. She also appealed to the students to follow the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekanand, Mary Kom to keep away from drug abuse and other ill habits.

 

 

Lions Club Udupi south president Vadiraj Rao in his presidential address called on the students to contribute for nation building. 

 

Lioness Club president Geeta Vadiraja Rao, secretary Veena Hebbar, Lions zonal co-ordinator Y Jayanti Karant were present. 

 

The College principal U L Bhat welcomed the gathering. The student Chaitra rendered the prayer. Wilson proposed vote of thanks. Prasanna compered the programme.
