Udupi/M’belle: Three days long Ganesh festival concludes with the immersion of the idol

Udupi, 21 Sep 2015: The three days long Ganesh festival organized by Sarvajanika Shri Ganeshotsava Samithi, Belle-Kattingeri concluded on Saturday, 19 September 2015 with the immersion of the Ganesh idol after a colourful procession.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The procession began at 5pm from the Geeta Mandir after the mandatory poojas. The procession accompanied by Nasik Band and dancers proceeded through the main road to Ganapana Katte and back towards Thirlapalke where the Ganesh idiol was immersed in a pond at around 9.15 pm.
