Mangaluru: Narayana Guru disgraceful act; Yuvavahini urges CM to hold inquiry

Mangaluru, 15 Sep 2015: The delegation of Yuvavahini central Committee here on Tuesday September 15, submitted a memorandum to DK district Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim, condemning the disgraceful act of vandalizing the idol of Narayana Guru, in the tableau at Kannur, in Kerala.
The delegation urged CM Siddaramaiah to stop the defamation of Narayana Guru, a visionary who propagated universal brotherhood, in social networking sites because that has hurt the religious sentiments of innumerable devotees in DK district who worship Narayan Guru. They also demanded to hold investigation on the incident and award imprisonment to those who committed such disgraceful act.
All India Billawa Federation secretary Rajashekar Kotian, Yuvavahini central Committee office bearers Rajeev Poojary, Sadhoo Poojary, Shankar Suvarna, Parameshwar Poojary, Laxman Salian, Mulky Chandrashekar Suvarna, Premanat Bantwal, Vijayakumar Kubevoor, Sanjeev Suvarna, Padmanabha, Keshav Suvarna, Yogish Kotian, and others were present.
