Bantwal: Bahugram Drinking Water Project set to be ready by Mar 2016 - Minister Rai

Bantwal, 10 Sep 2015: Bahugram drinking water project that is under way to permanently solve drinking water woes of people across the taluk will be completed by March 2016, said DK district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai.
Addressing the media persons here on Wednesday September 9, after inspecting the ongoing drinking water works at Karopady and Sangabettu, near here, minister Rai said that the work is underway @ Rs 36 crore in Sangabettu, near here, while constructing jack-well and setting up of water treatment plant on a hillock at Puccheri, near here is in progress, said minister Rai.
It’s the drinking water project to supply 16 villages from Palguni River, said minister Rai.
Separate feeders will be installed to provide uninterrupted electricity supply for supplying drinking water around the clock, added minister Rai.
