Mumbai: BSKBA sets motion for Krishnastami celebrations at Gokul, Sion

Mumbai, 06 Sep 2015: Bombay South Kanara Brahmin Association (BSKBA) in collaboration with Gopalakrishna Public Trust began their two-day religious celebrations on the occasion of Krishnastami at Gokul Mandir, Sion, here on Saturday September 5.
The temple chief priest Hari Bhat performed Vedic celebrations on the occasion.
BSKBA president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel and Gopalakrishna Public Trust secretary A S Rao offered motion for twenty-four-hour chanting of Lord Hari in association with local Bhajan groups on Saturday September 5 early morning.
BSKBA vice presidents Vaman Holla and P Umesh Rao, honorary general secretary P C N Rao, women wing president Shailini Rao, former president K Subbanna Rao, community leaders Prema S Rao, Vijayalaxmi Bhat, U Mohan Rao, Umesh Rao, Vani Bhat, M H Muralidar, Gopalakrishna Public Trust trustee B Ramanand Rao and Krishna Acharya and others were present.
