Mangaluru: MLA J R Lobo visits victim of moral policing at hospital

Mangaluru, 26 Aug 2015: MLA J R Lobo on Tuesday August 25 visited the youngster who was admitted in a hospital after the incident of moral policing at Attavar, here.

 

 

Addressing the media persons, MLA Lobo said that law enforcement agencies were instructed to take appropriate action on those who took the law into their hands.

 

He further said, ‘I am saddened with the incident. The inhuman incident indeed tarnishes the image of Mangaluru because of a few people. It’s a disgrace to the district that has highest literacy level. The stringent actions will be taken on those who are responsible for the act, regardless of religion that they belong,’ said MLA Lobo.
