Bantwal: Mumbai-based Bhavani Foundation organizes health camp at Kuddupadav

Bantwal, 23 Aug 2015: Everyone should help the people who are in adversity. The hospitals and education institutions should come out of their commercial attitude, in order to serve the society. One got to work for the welfare of society by keeping a little for him/her and larger part for society, said Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel. 
 
MP Nalin was speaking during the stage programme held on the occasion of free health checkup camp that was organized by Mumbai-based Bhavani Foundation in association with taluk working journalists Association at Government Higher Primary School, Udayagiri, Kuddupadav, near here on Saturday August 22. The camp was organized in memory of the late Chelladka Bhavani Deranna Shetty.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Mangaluru-based A J Shetty Institute of Medical Sciences founder A J Shetty said that one got to utilize a portion of his/her wealth for social welfare activities. One can involve in social welfare activities provided he/she enjoys good health. The rural people had to avail modern healthcare facilities. The people got to come forward in seeking healthcare services at the early stage of diseases, urged A J Shetty.

Adyanadka primary health centre (PHC) Dr Subhod Kumar Rai inaugurated the health checkup camp by examining the pulse of MP Nalin on the occasion.
 
Bhavani Foundation founder chairman Chelladka Kusumodar D Shetty presided the programme.
 
Kepu – Vittal gram panchayat president Taranat Alva, ZP member Chennappa R Kotian, TP member Lalita Shivappa Naik, taluki working journalists Association president Mounesh Vishwakarma,  Chelladka Vittal Alva, Sarita Kusumodar Alva, Vamanjoor – Amruteshwar temple governing council president Sitaram Shetty, Nadumuger Shivaram Shetty, Dr Y Bharat Shetty, Jikshit Kusumodar Shetty, Chelladka Prakash D Shetty, Gopalakrishna Kundar, Premanat Shetty Mundkoor, Navinchandra R Sanil and others were present.
 
Shrija rendered the prayers. Bhavani Foundation trustee Chelladka Radhakrishna Shetty welcomed the gathering.  Rajeev Bhandary Manipadav delivered the introductory address. The journalist Rons Bantwal proposed vote of thanks. The teacher Suresh Kumar Rai compered the programme.
 
The free checkup camp was held by A J Hospital and Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangaluru, in association with Divya Shakti Yuvaka Mandala – Kuddupadav, Durga Mitra Vranda, Maira 0- Kepu, Ulalti Bhajana Mandali – Amai, Guruji Yuvaka Mandala – Adyanadka.
 
Over 511 people were benefited from the health checkup camp.
