Air Pegasus begins operations from Mangaluru
Mangaluru, 21 Aug 2015: The first flight of Air Pegasus, a Bengaluru-based regional airline, reached Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) here on August 21 around 12.33pm with 59 passengers onboard and later took off to Bengaluru with 42 passengers around 1pm.
Air Pegasus operates ATR 72-500 type aircraft and began operations to and from Mangalore International Airport on Friday.
J T Radhakrishna, Director, Mangalore International Airport and Syson Thomas, Managing Director of Air Pegasus were present when the operation began.
The flight will be operational on all days except on Tuesdays and cover cities such as Bengaluru, Hubballi, Madurai, Cuddapah, Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai, stated a release.
