Mumbai, 16 Aug 2015: St Xavier’s High School, Borivali (East) celebrated sixty-ninth Independence Day on Saturday August 15.
Dahisar assistant sub-inspector Sunil Dahibate, Vijayagiri, Dainika Bhaskar – newspaper editor Vinod Yadav, Marathi movie actor Akash Pawar, Bro Adrienne and others were the chief guests of the occasion.
The chief guests lauded the School correspondents Dr A F Pinto and Grace Pinto for their major contributions to education sphere.
The students presented patriotic songs, skits, dances and other cultural shows.
The chief guests planted a few saplings at the campus. The School head teacher Mariette Fernandes led the celebrations.
