ICYM Moodubelle all set to organise Singing Competition

Udupi, 18 Jul 2015: ICYM Moodubelle which is in service since 35 years, is all gearing up for forthcoming Monthi Fest celebrations. Every year ICYM is organising several competitions for the parishioners of Moodubelle and these competitions are eagerly awaited by all for its uniqueness and professional organising skills.
This year too, ICYM is all set to organise several competitions for every age group of Belle parish. The first among them is the Singing Competition which will be held on Sunday, 19 July 2015.
This Singing competition will be held in auditorium of English Medium School and will start at 9.00 am.
To give opportunity to every talent in the parish, competition will be held in several age groups
LKG - UKG
First - Third standard
Fourth - Fifth standard
Sixth - Eighth standard
Ninth - Tenth standard
PUC students
18 - 30 years
30 - 40 years
40 - 50 years
50 - 60 years
60 years and above
This competition is held to select promising talents who can be trained in church choir and other ways to get best out of them and to prepare for upcoming competitions. Moodubelle parish is today blessed to have parish priest Fr.Clement Mascrenhas, who is a well versed musician and knows the importance of grooming such talents at early age.
Entire event will be coordinated by Gladson Lloyd Alva and Joshal D’mello who are the cultural in-charge of ICYM unit. As per ICYM President last year 138 people took part in competition while he expect more than 150 entries in this year.
