Bantwal: Edu Expert Dr Sukumar Gowda urges Union Govt to clarify language in National Policy

Bantwal, 07 Jul 2015: The centralization of education in the nation is not justified. The syllabus, teaching methods and medium should be localized. It’s essential that the union government makes it clear the language aspect in the national education policy, said education expert Dr Sukumar Gowda.
Dr Gowda was speaking during the discussion meet on National Education Policy – 2015 that was organized by public instructions department in association with Government Employees Association – Bantwal unit and Rotary Club of Bantwal at Block Education Officer’s office here on Monday July 6.
Dr Gowda further said, ‘The education should not be limited to mere securing higher marks. It’s laying emphasis on mugging up the subject. The emphasis should be laid to quality of education rather than securing higher marks. The significant changes had to be done in teachers training, because they got to understand the children’s future depend on implementing the objectives now and here itself,’ said Dr Gowda.
Valored director Renny D’Souza said that the education policy should facility the children to carve out better future.
