Mumbai: KCA Nallasopara distributes uniforms & notebooks to poor students of locality

Mumbai, 09 Jun 2015: Konkani Catholic Association (KCA) Nallasopara organized the distribution of school uniforms and notebooks to poor students of locality during a simple function held at St Francis De Sales School auditorium, Nallasopara (East) here on Sunday June 7.
KCA Nallasopara president and youth leader Harry B Cutinho presided the simple function here on Sunday morning.
The local social activist Jayaram Kasar was the chief guest distributed the school uniforms and notebooks to the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Jayaram said that the children have key role in the nation building. He advised the students to develop social concern and human values.
Harry urged the children to develop patriotism and human values for harmonious living. The education enables the children to lead better lives. He also advised them to be passionate to their native culture.
KCA executive Committee members Hilda D’Souza, Richard Pinto, Lilly Quadros, John Alva, Lucy Noronha, Romeo D’Souza, Lavina Dias, Ronnie Pais, Dyna Moraes and others were present.
KCA vice president Gracy Pinto welcomed the gathering. The treasurer Alwyn Francis D’Souza Mudarangady proposed vote of thanks.

This is a very good service to the children where they are hard presses under the present economic conditions. Jesus likes this. Catholic Association doing it is an excellent example to others and I praise it because it is in a place where such services are required. May God bless the leaders to do more and better service to Humanity. Praise the Lord. |
