Abu Dhabi: Mrs Sweety Shah Winner of Mrs ILA – 2015; Mrs Navdeep K Hanjra runner up

Abu Dhabi/UAE, 01 June 2015: The Indian Ladies Association (ILA) - Abu Dhabi hosted Mrs ILA - 2015 at Crown Plaza - Emirates Ballroom, here on Friday May 28 at 5.00pm.

 

The event was marked with the presence of members and their families and invitees.

 

The honorary general secretary Elfreda D’Souza initiated the programme by welcoming the members/guests and sponsors and requested honorary president Aisha Lakdawala to address the gathering and introduce the jurors of the event to the audience.

 

The programme commenced with a Talk Show by Meghna Shukla, nutritionist from Bite Rite which also included cooking demo and nutrition talk.

 

 

It was followed by honorary vice president Sonal Kapur and ILA member Diji Shujahi conducting the Beauty Pageants.

 

Swarnima Guha, fashion consultant from Jhalak Fashions addressed the attendees by giving a talk on Art of Dressing which included all about fashion and grooming. This was enjoyed by the ladies.

 

ILA member Diji Shujahi compered the event. She has been anchoring various TV and stage shows in and around UAE and India for the past 15 years. Prominent ones being Amrita Tv Super Troupe, Parody Express on Kairali TV and various Film Award and Stage Shows in India. She has been doing all prominent company launches including Microsoft, Intel, Zotac on a GCC level.

 

Mr and Mrs Hamad Al Hosani - COO, Universal Hospital, Dr Mr and Mrs Mohammed Fadi Qaddo - director, Al Khawarizmi International College, Dr Mr and Mrs Georgey Koshy - Chief Medical Officer, Universal Hospital were the chief guests of the occasion.

 

Dr Mouza Al Suwaidi - consultant, Universal Hospital, Dr Mohammed Fadi Qaddo, director, Al Khawarizmi International College and Dr Andra Clitan, international designer from Al Khawarizmi International College were the jurors of Beauty Pageant.

 

A total of 18 participants / ILA members gave their outstanding performances and had to go through 3 rounds - traditional wear, talent contest and western wear to win various title.
