Both were produced by Evershine Creations/Evershine Publishers owned by a well-konkani writer and a talented organizer Canute Pinto. However Canute Pinto wasn’t presence due to his work in Abu Dhabi but his wife Janet Pinto was present during the release ceremony.

Kevin’s  latest CD  ‘Ek Geet’ was released by another poet/singer Kishoo Barkur accompanied by his Parents, poet Wilson Kateel, Music Arranger Stephen Frnak and Janet Pinto, wife of Canute Pinto of Evershine Creations. This Konkani CD promises to enthrall the music lovers with a wide variety of songs. A number of talented artists have been brought together in the album to give life to Kevin Misquith’s compositions to the lyrics written by poets Kishoo Barkur, Wilson Kateel, Sanjay Borkar and Kevin Misquith himself. Stephen Frank’s music arrangement for the songs in the album has taken these compositions to a whole new level.

Earlier Sheldon Crasta introduced both the artists and welcomed the gathering. HM Pernal, Editor of Kittall.Com & ARSO fortnightly addressed the gathering and thanked Evershine Creations/Publications who has come out to support Konkani music and Literature by publishing CDs and books at a cost of around 1 Lakh ruppes every year.

Soon after the CD release discussion  was held on the newly released CD Ek Geeth headed by Kishoo Barkur with Kevin Misquith, Stephen Frank and Wilson Kateel wherein they explained the quality of the CD and how wonderfully music has been arranged by the new comer Music Arranger Stephen Frank. Steven thanked Kevin for entrusting him providing music to the CD. A few questions were asked by the audience as well on current quality of Music Albums. Kevin said the CD is an unique production having wonderful lyrics by Mangalorean/Goan poets and songs we must listen to are: ‘Sukknea go’ written by Goan poet Sanjay Borkar and rendered by Munita Veigas. ‘Yo Moga’. A melodious and romantic song composed by Kishoo Barkur and sung by Prajoth, the title song ‘Ek geet’, a very dynamic and energetic song written by himself & depict the passion of a music composer, this song is an insight to Kevin Misquith as a singer & composer and ‘Oh baby’ is quite a unique romantic number written by Sanjay Borkar and rendered by Kevin Misquith. ‘Aaz puni’. This time it’s not a romantic number but a sentimental one penned by Wilson Kateel.

Prior  to Conclusion Kevin thanked Canute Pinto of  Evershine Creations  and all the support sponsors.

The Second part of the program was release of a collection of poems by Melvyn Rodrigues titled “Devi Ninkasi“ released by Janet Pinto of Evershine Publishers along with H M Pernal, Avrel Rodrigues.
