The locals informed the station master at B C Road railway station about the uprooted tree as a train service between Mangaluru to Subramanya was due on the same track in a few minutes. It was held up at B C Road station, when the locals worked on clearing the branches and twinges. The train assumed the onward journey once the tree was cleared from the tracks.
