Bantwal: Salumara New Minor Bridge ready for vehicular traffic by 1st week of June

Bantwal, 06 May 2015: Salumara minor bridge that has been long-pending demand of Panemangaluru residents will be ready for vehicular traffic in a month or so.

 

 

The reconstruction of new bridge began under NABARD project @ Rs 1.26 crore with the earnest interest of local MLA and district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai, to fulfill the long-pending demand of people.

 

A service road also laid @ Rs 5 lac to enable vehicular traffic till the new bridge will be ready for use.     

 

The bridge works reached final stages and will be ready for vehicular traffic by first week of June, said PWD engineer Umesh Bhat.
