Karkal: Survival of state-run schools depend on teachers & parents - MLA Sunil

Karkal, 24 Apr 2015: The English medium schools are mushrooming because the parents are lured into such schools for status, while such schools are posing threat to the surval of state-run schools. Meanwhile, the survival of state-run school depends with the joint efforts of teachers and parents, MLA V Sunil Kumar.
MLA Sunil was speaking during inaugural of new building block of Nandalike Government Higher Primary School, Nandalike, near here on Thursday April 23.
Nandalike Ratna was awarded to Kapikere Krishna Shetty and Chavady Aramane Suhas Hegde on the same occasion.
The teachers Sumati Poojarti and Satish Holla were felicitated on retirement.
Mumbai entrepreneur Nandalike Kapikere Krishna Shetty, ZP member Kedinje Supreet Shetty, retired principal Jayant Rao P, entrepreneurs S K Salian, Tukaram Shetty and Ratnakar Shetty, block education officer Divakar Shetty, aided teachers Association former president Chandrashekar, Padubidri – primary health centre medical officer Balakrishna Rao, retired bank employee Balachandra Shetty, education Committee president Sasidar Shetty,m TP member Xavier D’Mello and others were present.
