Mumbai: Jayanti Madhav Devadiga, wins national Masters Athletic Championship

Mumbai, 30 Mar 2015: Jayanti Madhav Devadiga, won national Masters Athletic Championship for the consecutive fourth time during the meet held at Rajeev Gandhi stadium, Rohtak, Hariyana from March 1 to March 22. She bagged gold in discuss throw, 4 silver in triple jump, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay, bronze in long jump. The athletes from 18 states of India competed in the tough competition.

 

Jayanti is serving as secretary of metro-based Devadiga Sangh – women’s wing. Jayanti has 3 children and efficiently manages her family duties with her association with cultural activities of Devadiga Sangh.
