Karkal: Farewell to St Joseph’s High School, Belman head teacher Renilda Pereira

Karkal, 19 Mar 2015: The farewell function was held for Renilda Pereira, head teacher of St Joseph’s High School, Belman, near here who retired after serving 37 years, on Wednesday March 18.
St Joseph’s education institutions correspondent Fr Lawrence B D’Souza in his presidential address said that the education institution has favorable environment to study, while the teachers are hardworking and dedicated. In ten years of service of Renilda as head teacher, the school recorded over 95 percent results in SSLC and thrice 100 percent.
Mangaluru diocesan Catholic Board of Education secretary Fr Gerald D’Souza, Udupi diocesan Catholic Board of Education secretary Fr Clement Mascarenhas, TP member Xavier D’Mello, Belman parish council vice president Gregory Menezes conveyed best wishes to Renilda Pereira.
Belman assistant parish priests Fr John Baptist Moras and Fr Arun D’Souza, St Joseph’s Higher Primary School head teacher Sr Monica, convent superior Sr Usha Stella, PTA vice president Adve Prabhakar Suvarna, member Sunita Aranha were present at the dais.
The designated-head teacher Anita Kamalini welcomed the gathering. The teacher Chandrashekar read the felicitation letter. PT instructor Haridas Prabhu compered the programme. The teacher Laila Babita proposed vote of thanks.
