Mangaluru: Ministers condole demise of Tulu veteran theater artiste K N Tailor
Mangaluru, 18 Mar 2015: It’s because of the sustained efforts of veteran Tulu playwright and artiste K N Tailor; Tulu theater got the global perspective. Tulu theater indeed faces the void of veteran K N Tailor, said the state forests and DK district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai in his condolence message on demise of K N Tailor.
The state health minister U T Khader said that it’s the talented acting of K N Tailor created a situation, wherein the audience had to view the plays by paying for the tickets. It’s because of this, Tulu theater was streamlined to this stage. He has contributed immensely for theater in coastal district, said minister Khader.
The state youth service and sports minister K Abayachandra Jain said that K N Tailor contributed immensely to cultural sphere of undivided Dakshina Kannada district. His acting was indeed memorable, said minster Jain.
MLAs B A Moideen Bawa and J R Lobo, MLC Ivan D’Souza and DK Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim expressed condolences on the demise of veteran theater artiste K N Tailor.
