Beltangady: Humanity & Charity exemplified at Dharmasthala - Minister Sorake

Beltangady, 13 Mar 2015: The state urban development minister Vinay Kumar Sorake conveyed best wishes for cultural programmes that were held as part of Astabanda Brahmakalashotsav at Dharmasthala, here on Thursday March 12.

 

The minister Sorake was speaking after inaugurating cultural programmes at Dharmastala, here on Thursday.

 

He further said, ‘One witnesses the humanity at Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala with devotion and charity. The undoubting faith in God and devotion can lead to miracles that is personified at Dharmasthala,’ said minister Sorake.

 

 

He lauded the contributions of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade in creating healthy society by eradicating ignorance and promoting knowledge.

 

The state sport minister K Abayachandra Jain after releasing, ‘Mahabanda’ commemorating bulletin said that Dr Heggade has contributed immensely to the society, while Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala is a role model for cleanliness for other temples, said minister Jain.

 

Speaking on the occasion Dr Heggade said that Astabanda Brahmakalashotsav is being performed to maintain sanctity at the temple, to seek divine graces for any lapses during daily worship. It would restore sanctity of temple and the celebrants, said Dr Heggade. He advised to seek pardon for sins whilst at the temple.

 

Gangadar Mittamar welcomed the gathering. Shubhaschandra Jain proposed vote of thanks. Professor S Prabhakar, D Surendra Kumar and D Harshendra Kumar were present.
