Beltangady: Photographer meets tragic end after wall collapses

Beltangady, 08 Mar 2015: What can be said as the fate or tragedy a photographer who was covering Nagamandala, religious celebration at Koyyur temple near here lost his life after the nearby wall collapsed on him on Sunday March 8 morning.

Thirty-five-year-old Diwakar Acharya was the deceased photographer.

 

As it started raining on Sunday morning, Diwakar rushed to fetch his camera bag kept near the retaining wall. All of a sudden, the wall collapsed and he was buried in the debris.

He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced brought dead.

 
Diwakar is a resident of Puttur had married about 2 years ago and has a child.

Beltangady police have registered a case in this regard.
