Puttur: 4 injured in head on collision of Omni & pickup truck

Puttur, 02 Mar 2015: Four persons were injured in the collision of Maruti Omni and pickup truck at Kemmai, near here on Saturday February 28 late night.

The injured has been identified as forty-year-old Aboobakkar, twenty-seven-year-old Sasi Kumar, forty-eight-year-old Devappa and thirty-one-year-old Ganesh Poojary.

 

Except for Aboobkar who was struck inside the damaged car, others have been admitted in one of the hospitals in town.

The consumer goods retailing pickup truck was returning from Nelyady, here Omni was plying towards Uppinangady, when it collided at the outskirts of city at Kemmai.

Omini has been totally damaged due to the impact. Puttur traffic police have registered a case.
