Mumbai: Railway Yatri Seva Sangh, Borivali organizes Janata Adalat

Mumbai, 16 Feb 2015: At the joint aegis of Railway Yatri Seva Sangh®, Borivali, Kannadigara Patrakartara Sangh Maharashtra, Karnataka Malla Kannada daily and Udayavani Kannada daily, Janata Adalat, was held at Shantidham auditorium, Shimpoli Cross Road, Borivali (West) here at the leadership of MP Gopal Shetty on Sunday February 15.
Railway Yatri Seva Sangh® honorary president Virar Shankar Shetty introduced MP Gopal Shetty and said despite memorandums were submitted to 7 union railway ministers in the past 3 years by the office bearers of the Sangh, nothing has come out worthwhile. Meanwhile, there are hopes that newly-elected MP Gopal Shetty will take up the issue with his long time associate union railway minister Suresh Prabhu, to begin new services to undivided Dakshina Kannada district. The private buses charging exorbitant fares during peak season should stop and uniform fares should prevail, said Shankar Shetty.
Janata Adalat was organized by SMS just a week in advance, enabling natives of undivided Dakshina Kannada district settled in Mumbai to address their grievances on train services to their homelands. A large number of people have partaken in the Adalat and hoped for its early realization.
Railway Yatri Seva Sangh® vice president Premanat Kotian, treasurer Ratna Shetty, joint secretary Rajit Suvarna, advisor Simon P D’Costa, Sheela Shetty, Oliver D’Souza Vasai, T K Kotian and others were present.
