Ramakrishna Mission carries out Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan for consecutive 3rd Sunday

Mangaluru, 16 Feb 2015: Ramakrishna Mission carried out Swacch Mangaluru for Swacch Bharat - cleanliness drive on third consecutive Sunday on February 15 at Hampankatta and near Central Railway Station here.

 

 

About 150 volunteers - devotees and well wishers of Ramakrishna Ashram and other eminent persons took part in the cleanliness drive carried on for 4-hour on Sunday morning. This included cleaning the compound walls - cleaning the roads - painting the walls - relaying the interlock tiles thus repairing the damaged road. 

 

MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik and ACP (Mangalore City Police) flagged off the drive.

 

This is a part of the 40-weeks Cleanliness Drive being organized by the Ramakrishna Mission and initiated on February 1.
