Mangaluru: Pillion rider dies after private bus rams bike at Gurpur - Kaikamba

Mangaluru, 07 Feb 2015: A pillion rider was run over by a marauding private bus plying from Moodbidri to city, when it hit the motorcycle at the intersection of Vikas Nagar, Gurpur – Kaikamba, near here on Mangaluru – Moodbidri national highway on Friday February 6.

 

 

The deceased has been identified as thirty-seven-year-old Uday Shetty from Shivapura, Hebri in Karkal taluk.

 

The sources informed Uday was employed as a sales representative of a popular brand of mixer and grinders, and was on his way to Moodbidri, along with bike rider Nitish who is injured and has been admitted at a hospital.

 

Bajpe police registered a case in this regard.
