Mumbai: Large number of People partake in Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon

Mumbai, 19 Jan 2015: The Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao flagged-off the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon near Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus here on Sunday January 18.

 

The guardian minister of Mumbai Subhash Desai was also present.

The Governor flagged off the Marathon and the run for senior citizens and one for the physically challenged. 

 

The Governor also presented prizes to the winners of the Half Marathon in Women’s category on this occasion.

 

Kavita Kaur bagged the first prize in women’s half marathon, while Eva Bugler bagged the second prize and Supriya Patil won the third prize.
