Sullia: Foreign couple enter wedlock the ’desi’ way

Sullia, 11 Jan 2015: At a time when Indians are seen distancing themselves from culture and tradition, a foreign couple got married in accordance with Hindu customs and traditions in Sneha Bayalu Ranga Mandira on Sunday, January 11.

 

 

Cecilia from Sweden who was working as a guest lecturer at a college in Sullia fell in love with Gary from England and both decided to get married according to Hindu traditions.

 

The wedding was officiated by Damle couple who donned the role of Cecilia’s parents and Madhusudan couple were on Gary’s side.

 

Dressed in traditional attire the couple were cynosure of everybody’s eyes as they performed every ritual.

 

The wedding was witnessed by residents and students of Sullia.
