Mangaluru: Mudipu observes bundh demanding RTA to reduce city bus fares

Mangaluru, Dec 30, 2014: The residents of the Mudipu near here on Monday December 29 have observed bundh by obstructing vehicular traffic and forcibly shutting down the shops, in order to press the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) to reduce the city bus fares at the backdrop of slash in prices of petroleum products.

 

 

The bundh has been called by Nagarika Kriya Samiti, Mudipu along with other social welfare/voluntary organizations.

 

The protestors gathered at Mudipu junction and have cautioned to lay road blockade until the fares are reduced.
