Mumbai: Entertainment ka Mela Mulund Festival starts with pomp & fervor

Mumbai, 27 Dec 2014: The much awaited Mulund Festival, organised Ex-MLC Charan Singh Sapra, chairman of SEWAK (NGO), rocked the eastern suburb here on Wednesday December 24, where body builders from around the World flexed their muscles thereby amazing the Mulundites with their hulky structures & Group Garba Competition made them shake their feet.

 
Indian Body Builders of World Championship Level participated in this mega event. But it was a real surprise for people of Mulund as Body Builders from countries like Germany, England, Russia, etc too participated. Chief Guest Bollywood Actor Mukesh Rishi who himself is a Body Builder, considering the participations from all over the world, said Sapra has organised this event on a very Grand Scale & it can be rather called ‘World Festival’ instead of ‘Mulund Festival.’

 
Kaizzad Capadia was the guest of honor.

 

Body Builder and Founder of K11 chain of Gym, lauded in the Mammoth crowd, ‘I am very happy and surprised to see that this event has International Participations. I thank Sapra, who himself is very health conscious and is a regular gymmer for organizing such a Professional Grand Championship Event thereby giving message of Health Awarness,’ said  Harichandra SP from the Indian Navy bagged the prestigious, ‘Mulund Shree’ title.

 
Sugandha Mishra (standup comedian and singer) graced the Group Garba Competition. She amused the crowd of thousands to such an extent that tears started running their cheeks. She also made the public dance with her.

 
The thrilling Harley Davidson & Super Bike Rally on will also be flagged off on Thursday December 25 from Mulund (E) Fire Brigade at 4.00pm.

 
The Grand Finale of festival will be held on Sunday 28th Dec 6.30pm onwards, which will witness a galaxy of stars from the entertainment world at the Nirmal Lifestyle Mall amidst famous personalities like Ayushman Khurana, Riteish Deshmukh, Neha Dhupia & SAB TV starcast. The event will be graced by rocking performance of Shaan & troupe. There will be an added attraction of Standup Comedy by Sudesh Lehri.
