Mangaluru: New Bldg Block of Al Badriya School inaugurated at Krishnapura

Mangaluru, Dec 27, 2014: The minority communities even now are lacking in ability to gain the rights bestowed by Indian constitution. It’s because of illiteracy. Education can create aware in this regard, said the former union minister Rajya Sabha member K Rehman Khan.
Rehman was speaking after inaugurating the new building of Ak Badriya Education Institute managed by Al Badriya Educational Association, Krishnapura, near here on Friday December 26.
Rehman further said, ‘The community themselves is responsible for the Muslims to remain backward. The worldly education is also essential. The religious leaders got to bear the responsibility of advising the community in this regard,’ emphasized Rehman. ‘The community cannot develop with the mere help of government. One got to work diligently for his/her betterment. Dakshina Kannada district has strong awareness on need for education,’ added Rehman.
MP Oscar Fernandes after inaugurating the administrative office and computer lab and science lab, commended Al Badriya Education Institutions for developing infrastructure as a role model among minority education institutes.
Speaking on the occasion, MLC Ivan D’Souza urged the minority community to join government service that would help them to serve community.
Mak Group of Companies chairman Kumbla Mohammed Arabi, Worldwide Shipping managing director A Mohiuddeen, corporator Tilak Raj, Ayaz Ahmed, Gunashekar Shetty, Al Badriya Education Institutions correspondent B A Nazir, principal Zohra Abbas were present.
MLA B A Moideen Bawa presided the programme.
Al Badriya Education Institutions chairman B M Mohammed Ali welcomed the gathering. The vice principal Gunavati proposed vote of thanks. Mohammed Ali compered the programme.
