Mumbai: Christian Chamber of Commerce & Industry celebrates 15th Founders Day

Mumbai, Dec 23, 2014: ‘It’s good to see new members in Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) that I was privileged to launch 15 years ago. It has indeed realized its objective by membership of over 600. It has been rendering valuable service to the community with in house entrepreneurial advisors to realize the aspirations of promising entrepreneurs. The more number of members bring wide expertise, said retired metropolitan Police Commissioner and Model Co-operative Bank director Ronnie H Mendonca.
Ronnie was speaking during Christmas Sambram – 2014 that was organized by the youth wing of CCCI at Hotel Kohinoor Continental banquet hall, J B Nagar, Andheri (East), here on Sunday December 20 evening.
Ronnie in his Christmas message said, ‘Entrepreneur brothers, it’s essential to foster harmonious living with your neighbors. One gets everything by peaceful living. The politeness is key to success in life, shun ego as not to breach laws. Overlook flaws among the people for peaceful co-existence. Hatred should creep into your lives. At this Christmas occasion, I wish all CCCI members happy Christmas and New Year, success in business,’ said Ronnie.
Speaking on the occasion, CCCI founder president Vincent Mathias said, ‘I am happy that CCCI completes 15 years with the active participation of its members. The community also gains with the contributions of its members. Its members are scattered across the nation including Mumbai, its suburbs, Karnataka, Goa, Kerala Maharashtra and overseas countries. Each member has contributed significantly for its growth. It has opened up new vistas for growth such as networking, experiment; innovate on products and services, etc. The up-and-coming young entrepreneurs are also working towards its objective. CCCI has great future. CCCI will share its entrepreneurial success stories with students in colleges in the future,’ said Ronnie.
The veteran entrepreneur Walter Viara was the guest of honor conveyed best wishes to the members.
CCCI deputy chairpersons John D’Silva and Albert W D’Souza, John Mathew were present on the dais.
CCCI president Henry Lobo welcomed the gathering and briefed on the relentless service of founder Vincent Mathias and the significance of celebrating fifteenth Founders Day.
Philomena H Lobo and Henry Lobo honored the dignitaries with flower bouquets. Dr Richard Pereira compered the programme.
Romi Furtado conducted different games and amusements, dances and singing Christmas carols.
CCCI executive secretary Felix D’Souza distributed the prizes to the winners.
Agnello Rajesh Atheide proposed vote of thanks.
