Mumbai: St Xavier’s High School, Borivali (E) involves in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Mumbai, Dec 23, 2014: St Xavier’s High School, Borivali (East) here joined in PM Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at their premises here on Saturday December 20.
The drive began with welcome speech by Vice President which was followed by the word of God and prayer.
The naturalist Chaitanya Keer, dietician Dr Vidushi Agaraval and environmentalist Rushabh Shah were felicitated by the council members and forwarded towards the Ratan Nagar area for the cleanliness drive.
Students whole heartily joined cleaning the area spreading awareness to make Ratan Nagar area clean and eco– friendly.
The highlight for the programme was the enactment of the environmental skit on cleanliness presented by the students.
Indeed this drive was inspiring and type of learning session for the students.
This programme was organized with the support and guidance of Ryan International Group of education institutions chairman Dr Augustine Pinto and managing director Grace Pinto.
‘Educating kids and youth about such social activities will empower the noble cause of environmental cleanliness and will help us to serve our vision,’ said Vardhan Morakhia.
‘Our motto of clean India, Green India, Educating, and Public awareness where Swatch Bharat Abhiyan is the first step towards it,’ said Prashant Shah.
‘The students have done their best. I hope that every year we get to see various programmes and activities conducted by them,’ said Mariette Fernandes, head teacher of St Xavier’s High School.
