Bantwal: SCDCC Bank to launch mobile banking shortly - Rajendra Kumar

Bantwal, 29 Nov 2014: ‘There are plans to transact business by a customer though his mobile from anywhere across India,’ said SCDCC Bank chairman M N Rajendra Kumar.


Rajendra was speaking after inaugurating eighty-eighth branch of SCDCC Bank at Kavalapadoor – Vogga, near here on Friday November 28. The branch is located in Pacchaje Complex, Karinja Cross in Kavalapadoor near here.


‘SCDCC Bank issued RuPay Cards to 95,000 customers, while it was proposed to extend the facility to all primary co-operative banks in the district,’ said Rajendra. He further said that statue of veteran of co-operative movement the late Molahalli Shavaram will be unveiled at Puttur as part of centenary celebrations of SCDCC at Puttur on December 21.

Rajendra also said efforts will be made to provide more efficient facilities to bank customs by incorporating new banking software after solving a few legal complications. On the occasion opening eighty-eighth branch, the local villagers will be provided with interest-free auto loans for 1 month. The uniforms will be distributed to the members of Navodaya self-help-groups to create discipline and equality. The co-operative sphere has contributed significantly for the women to lead self-sufficiency. If the members of Navodaya self-help-groups come forward to start small scale industries and take up self employment, SCDCC Bank will advance loans. The women can create social change by laying more emphasis on educating their children, said Rajendra.


Kavalapadoor Service Co-operative Society chairman Pramod Kumar Rai, Kavalamudoor gram panchayat president Yaqoub, Kavalapadoor gram panchayat designated-president Abdul Razak, Pacchaje Complex landlord P Jinaraj Ariga, Sarapady Subbanna Shetty, G Anand, Narasimha Holla, Yashodar Shetty, Chennappa Salian, Deekayya Bangera were present. 


SCDCC Bank director T J Rajaram Bhat welcomed the gathering. The managing director M Gopalakrishna Bhat proposed vote of thanks. Dinesh Amin Bantwal compered the programme.
