Every single one of these hopefuls realizes what is at stake here, which is the once in a lifetime opportunity to play alongside some of the best cricketers ever to have played the game.

Similarly for the youngsters to be bowling against the fearsome power hitters like Yusuf Pathan, Herschelle Gibbs, Scott Styris and the ever-so-graceful Aravinda DeSilva will be a huge learning curve and an immense adrenalin rush as well. Final squads are expected to be announced next week with the official press conference taking place in Crowne Plaza hotel (hospitality partner for TACK-HUAWEI 4 nations festival) on the 27th of November 2014. The official jerseys of all the four teams will also be unveiled at the ceremony in front of all the leading media channels of Kuwait.

Staying true to its reputation of being the torch-bearer of innovation, for the first time ever in the history of cricket in Kuwait, TACK has pulled off an amazing feat of inviting as many as seven top line International cricketers to come down to Kuwait and compete in a domestic tournament alongside the country’s local talent through the platform of TACK-MG & Huawei 4Nations T20 festival 2014.

Instead of inviting some upcoming talent from the domestic circuits of some of these test playing nations, TACK went all out for this endeavor and has invited some of the biggest names to have ever played the game. These include the likes of one of the best all-rounder produced by Pakistan i.e. Azhar Mahmood, 1996 World Cup winners Upul Chandana and Aravinda De Silva from Sri Lanka, Scott Styris from New Zealand, former England captain Adam Hollioake, South African master blaster Herschelle Gibbs and the giant of Baroda Yusuf Pathan from India.

The sight of these international cricketers playing side by side with the best of Kuwait’s cricketing talent is a mouth-watering prospect and is reason enough to lock your dates for the 28th of November which is a Friday. Herschelle Gibbs, Scott Styris, and Adam Hollioake will represent TACK-KUWAIT XI along with Kuwaitis and Kuwait born cricketers.

Yusuf Pathan will represent TACK-INDIA XI along with the best talent of Indian cricketers residing in Kuwait. A few first class players from India are also going to fly down to compete in this historic event. Azhar Mahmood is going to represent TACK-Pakistan XI along with the best talent of Pakistani cricketers residing in Kuwait. Aravinda De Silva & Upul Chandana will represent TACK-Sri Lanka XI along with the best talent of Sri Lankan cricketers residing in Kuwait.

TACK International has now also become a proud partner of The Akram Foundation (TAF), whereby the Sultan of Swing, the legendary Wasim Akram from Pakistan, will be seen on the gigantic LED screen of 21.sq meters on the day of the event supporting TACK activities and simultaneously ensuring maximum people from all over the world come forward to help reduce poverty in Pakistan while maximizing education and healthcare simultaneously. Yusuf Pathan has already announced his support of 3 000 $ for the Akram foundation which will take place on the 28th of November during the magnamous event.

On the other hand, TACK has not only partnered for the second time with Huawei for the upcoming 4Nations T20 Festival by giving them the naming rights, but has managed to retain almost all the sponsors and partners from last year’s event which speaks volume about the trust and admiration TACK enjoys among its partners. However, as growth has always been TACK’s mantra, a lot of new partners have been brought onboard to conduct the event on such a massive scale. Al Mulla Group has come forward as the official Automotive Partner for the event with a swanky new Mitsubish Attarage to be given away to one lucky player (local player of the tournament) on the day of the event.

Fasten your seat belts, pull up your socks, and get ready for an entertaining roller coaster ride on the 28th of November at TACK Entertainment city cricket ground – Doha, where there will be back to back 4 thrilling t-20 matches, plenty of prizes and surprises, bumper draws and rocking music for all families and children to cherish for a long time to come. About TACK

Teams association for cricket in Kuwait, now famously know as TACK was established in 2009 under the unifying promise of Kuwait’s top 22 teams to promote, expand, and develop the game of cricket by improving standards in all areas of the game. TACK was formed as a non profit organization and was built solely on trust and promise.
