Puttur: All India College & University Employees Federation convenes Meeting at SPC

Puttur, 25 Nov 2014: The national executive Committee meeting of All India College and University Employees’ Federation was held at St Philomena College here on Sunday November 23.
The campus director and chairperson of Post Graduate Studies and Research Centre of St Philomena College Fr Antony Prakash Monteiro inaugurated the meeting by pouring ink to the pen and in his inaugural speech he said, ‘Dignity of labour is very important in our life. Head is not the property of only teaching staff. Even the sweeper can use his head properly. Everyone is equally is important in the administrative system. Everyone has to maintain discipline in work.’
The Federation president Dr R B Singh presided the programme.
The general secretary Narayana Saha, treasurer Tarun Bhattacharjee and vice president Ganga Prasad were present on this occasion.
Forty-five executive Committee members from various states - Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Karnataka have attended this meeting.
The prayer song was sung by Sahana Rao and group. The zonal secretary of the Federation and office superintendent of St Philomena College Victorian Fernandes compered the programme.
