Dubai: Sandalwood romantic actor Srinath mesmerizes Kannadiga audience with youthful acting

Dubai, Nov 17, 2014: Kannada renowned actor Srinath shared his journey of sandalwood movies during fifty-ninth Karnataka Rajyotsav celebrations held at James Wellington School auditorium, Sheikh Zayed Road, here on Friday November 15. Dubai Kannadiga Balaga organized the fifty-ninth Karnataka Rajyotsav celebrations.
‘Despite I am advancing in age, I feel youthful in my acting. If at all I have grown to such a stature in sandalwood career, it’s because of Kannadigas. I would ever remain indebted to Kannadigas and I will live rest of my life fruitfully by acting in movies,’ said romantic hero of sandalwood movies Srinath.
Srinath along with dignitaries inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
Srinath was brought to the venue by a procession accompanied with traditional musicians.
Chilly Willy managing director Satish Venkataramana, NRI Mustafa, organizers Uma Vidhyadar, Sadan Das, Basavaraj Salimata, Veerendra Babu, Dr Mohan Kudoor, Shivakumar, Natarajan and MTR Restaurant – Gayatri Amit were present at the dais.
Pandit Maruti Rao Inamdar pupil Vidushi Kalpana Sumantindra presented Hindustani classical music and Sugama Sangeet programme.
Pandith Hariprasad Chourasia pupil Pandit Himanshunanda mesmerized the audience with saxophone concert. The instrumentalists Mangalamba and Gurumurti provided the playback music.
The audience gave standing ovation to the singing of ‘Yava Mohana Murali Kareyito’ and sage Shishunala Sharifa’s singing ‘Kodagana Koli Nungitta Nodavva Tangi.’
Child prodigy Prajna and Vasupalla presented the welcome dance, while Manya Satish presented sensation dance to the song – Krishna Ni Begane Baro, and Suggi (Kharif dance).
Shivakumar, Uday Nanjappa and Deepa presented the dance for the hit songs of Srinath acted movies. Srinath also joined them enthralling the audience.
The orgnizers felicitated Srinat on the same occasion. The renowned comedian Sudha Baragoor presented rib-tickling jokes and mimicry.
