Mumbai: Mangalorean Ankita Rai bags 1st place in Master Kata at Mauritius

Mumbai, Nov 08, 2014: Ankita Rai, daughter of Balakrishna and Padmini Rai couple, hailing from Mangalore bagged first place in Masters Kata, second place in Individual Kata and third place in Team Kumite, in Indian Ocean Karate Championship – 2014 held at Mauritius recently.

 

 

Ankita is the niece of Payyar Ramesh Shetty, president of Karnataka Sangh Goregaon®.

 

She has been trained at All India Gojukai Karate Du and studying in M K Sanghvi College of Commerce, Ville Parle, here.
