Mumbai: Bollywood producer Gregory D’Almeida condoles demise of villain actor Amrapurkar

Mumbai, 03 Nov 2014: The bollywood movie producer and director Gregory L D’Almeida, who is hailing from Moodubelle in Udupi district expressed condolence over the demise of bollywood actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar, here on Monday November 3.
Amrapurkar has imprinted his mark in bollywood by acting in villain roles who has helped in the success of my Marathi movie ‘Ovalite Bhavuraya’ that has cast my daughter Smita G D’Almeida, said movie producer and director Leena G D’Almeida. Amrapurkar had great respect for Tulu – Kannadigas. I have bagged several awards for the movie ‘Hasri’ because Amrapurkar advised me, said Leena.
Amrapurkar has entertained the innumerable viewers by his acting in movies: Sadak, Hisk, Ardhsatya, Hum Saat Saat Hai etc, said Gregory.
Amrapurkar passed away on Monday November 3, owing to brief illness at Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani Hospital, Andheri (East) here where was admitted a week ago.
Gregory D’Almeida, movie producer Leena G D’Almeida and actor Smita G D’Almeida offered tribute to Amrapurkar during their visit.
