Chikmagalur: Konkani Literacy Campaign kicks-off at Kadabagere

Balehonnur, Sep 17, 2014: Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy in association with Konkani Rakaan Sanchalan, Chikmagalur – Hassan, organized the first programme of Konkani literacy campaign at St Paul’s parish, Kadabagere, here on Sunday September 14.

 

Eric Ozario, Ronnie Crasta Kelarai and Preeti Lopez were the resource persons, offered basic info on Konkani, numbers and other aspects, because Konkani speaking community who migrate to distant lands likely to lose their touch of mother tongue, as they converse in local languages wherever they are.

 

 

The Academy registrar Dr Devdas Pai welcomed the gathering.  Vitori Karkal compered the programme.

 

Stany Alvares, Naveen Lobo and Sheldon Crasta assisted in the programme.
