Udupi: JCI Udyavar - Kutpady organizes Jaycees Week - 2004, begins from Sep 14

Udupi, Sep 16, 2014: Jaycee Club International (JCI) Udyavar – Kutpady organized the inaugural of Jaycees Week – 2014 at Soundarya Residency, at Soundarya Residency, Udyavar, here on Sunday September 14.
JCI Foundation director Y Sukumar in his inaugural address said, ‘JCI is an institution, which supports personality development of an individual and it provides a platform to build leadership quality. Society is more important for growing such organization,’ said Sukumar.
Sukumar further said that a good citizen is a wealth of society. He thanked office bearers of JCI Udyavar who are directly or indirectly helped for the success of JCI Udyavar – Kuthpady at national level. JCI functions with support of Rotary Club and Lions club, added Sukumar.
Baskar A Kotian and Kumar Pitrody were felicitated during the programme for their dedicated social service and distributed scholarships for the progressive graduates.
JCI has plans to raise funds to donate J & Kashmir flood victims at the leadership of Udyavar gram panchayat president Vijaykumar.
‘Nanu Hemanth Avalu Sevanti’ Kannada movie hero Rajaneesh and ‘Rang’ Tulu movie actress Dikshita Acharya were present at the dais.
JCI members will hold different events for people of all age groups throughout Jaycees Week.
JCI Udyavar - Kutpady held a unique contest, ‘Udaya Apoorva Samsara- 2014’ during the event on Sunday at 5.00pm.
The former MLA U R Sabhapati, Ex MLA, Subash Bangera and Ramesh A Bangera of Udaya Group - Manipal, Lions Club district governor Suresh Prabhu, JCI past presidents Michael D’Souza and Allan Rohan Vaz, Jaycees Week director Jagadish Kumar, JCI treasurer Harish putran, Jayceeret president Vijetha Dayanand and others were present.
Dayanand welcomed the gathering. Roshan Crasta proposed the vote of thanks.
