M’lore: Unable to face the customers, Agents decide to suicide

Mangalore, Sep 11, 2014: The agents who were working for a finance company called as Vriksha Business Soultions have decided to end their life being unable to face the customers who have invested in the company and one of the agents has already given the death note to the Oorva police station stating that the owner of the company and their families are responsible for her death.

 

This is not the story of the one agent but about ten thousand agents and ten thousand facilities. Three people names Jeevraj Puranik, Roshan Dsouza and Venugopal started this company promising to multiply their money. As per the un-official sources the money they have borrowed accounts up to 80 crores and currently all the three are absconding. When the agents and customers urged for the return of the money since an year they have returned about 37 lac rupees in two instalments.  The corporate office of the company at KS Rao Road is closed since many days.

 

 

In the death note Mamatha(Name changed) has clearly mentioned that the trio Puranik, Roshan and Venugopal and their family members are responsible for her death and if her suicide yields justice to others then it is her last wish.” Many people people have been duped and I am not able to face the customers. If I suicide then my daughter will be abandoned. Please do not leave them. I have invested about 11 lac in the name of my neighbours and family members”

 

When one is thinking this way then the others are planning to go to the houses of three and burn themselves along with the family members of the three. 

 

This is a national level fraud as the company has branches in West Bengal and Kerala. From Mangalore itself they have managed to collect about thirty crores and the number seems to be very big if the amount of all the centres are considered. In Karnataka it has many branch offices and no one knows what has happened to those offices.

 

As per the agents the company had promised to invest the money by building hypermarkets and they have already built one in KS Rao road. They have purchased several apartments and land site’s in Kerala and Karnataka and recently a plot worth seven crores has been sold for 4 crore 60 lac’s in Kuloor and it has been registered in the name of the purchaser.

 

Currently the revenue officials have with-held the further procedures and currently a FIR has also been registered in Oorva Police station.

 

The agents also allege that when they question the family’s of the trio, they shoo them off by giving false complaints to the police stating physical assault. And even the local police also have been bribed. Hence about 71 customers have already submitted the memo to the commissioner and investigation has been initiated.

 

The agents and the customers have warned to protest in-front of the DC office on 25th September if the trio are notarrested.

 

As per the agents Roshan is the resident of Kodikal and was a photographer by profession.

 

Venugopal is the resident of Oorva and his profession is not known.
